• All of our lumber is inspected and graded by National Hardwood Lumber Inspectors before it arrives in our yard. We re-inspect during processing to make sure it meets our standards (using common sense, if we don't like it, odds are you will not like it). We remove excessive mineral, splits, checks and warp.
• In order to ensure the highest quality lumber possible, we require that no heavy stock be cut against our 4/4. Most mills use the very best logs for 8/4, 6/4 and 5/4 or take the very best part of any log for their heavier stock. We don't, we use the very best for our 4/4, also.
• Because of this, our lumber is more color consistent, has better than average widths and a higher percentage of clear usable lumber. We do not want you to be a one time customer, therefore we will ship you only the best. We are convinced if quality is considered, we have the lowest priced hardwoods available.
